Frequently Asked Questions

Why can’t the existing buildings be reused?

The current office buildings are outdated and inefficient. Their layout and construction do not meet modern standards and cannot be adapted to provide the quality or sustainability required today.

Will there be disruption during construction?

If planning permission is granted, a Construction Management Plan will be prepared and agreed with the Council, prior to works commencing, to minimise noise, dust, and disruption to neighbours.

How has traffic been considered?

Existing on-site car parking will be reduced to maintain only 10no spaces. Our proposal promotes sustainable travel, with excellent public transport access and through enhanced cycle facilities onsite. A Transport Statement will accompany the planning application.

How will sustainability be addressed?

The design includes a highly efficient building envelope, low-carbon systems, and measures to reduce operational energy, helping minimise environmental impact and improved biodiversity on site. A Sustainability Statement and Biodiversity Net Gain Report will accompany the planning application

What will happen to my feedback?

All comments submitted during consultation will be reviewed by the project team and included in a Statement of Community Involvement as part of the planning application.
